Two weeks ago, it was the french AC2008, a very nice convention for all atarians. I played a bit with Word and tried to make a flyer for Yastuna 2. You will find the french and english version in PDF in Bonus section.

12/04/2008A box...
Sometimes, someone send you a nice gift. Mathias, aka Matashen from german forum atari-home.de sent me 2 real boxes for Yastuna 2 - The Space Incident. This box just look like a standard Atari Lynx box.
He gave me permission to add a link to a pdf, so you will be able to print and make your own box. Many thanks to him.

11/02/2008More tests...
A new review of Yastuna 2 is on line. The german web site Planet Atari gave 7,7 on 10, and put online a video showing different games.
First test on real paper, the french fanzine Revival, gave 8 on 10 in his number 36, only available in french at this time, but soon in english.

08/11/2007More on line...
First tests of Yastuna 2 are on line. Pockett gave 4 stars to the game (test in french), and Atari Times gave 85%.

Yastuna vol. 2 is a freeware compilation of Lynx games to be used with an Atari Lynx emulator. The diffusion of this archive is free, however, we kindly ask you to keep the integrity of this archive, executable files and texts, and to keep the freeware status.

Space Lock
Inspired by Lunar Lockout, the classic from Binary Arts / Think Fun.
60 levels of increasing difficulty.
The game includes a level editor, in order to create and play to your own levels. With an easy to use code system, you will be able to distribute to your friends or over Internet your best levels.
A tutorial is included, in order to learn how to play to Space Lock.


The biggest adventure of the whole day.

How to use :
Your goal is to bring the red and white ship to the center of the screen, into the teleportation area.
You can select and move every ships, but once in movement, a ship will only stop when blocked by another ship. A ship cannot leave the screen area, or it will be lost in deep space.
To select a ship, use the pad, press A to select a ship, the name and the photo of the pilot will be displayed.
Use the pad to give a direction to the selected ship.
The "How to play" tutorial will help you to understand some Space Lock tricks.
Option 1 button displays an help cross for selection. Pause button displau a control menu.

How to use the level editor :
You can put freely each ship on screen. You can put a ship outside the screen if you do not want it in your level. The 6-letter code at the right will allow you to keep a trace of your favorites levels, and to spread them to your friends or over Internet.
Each letter is for a ship, and its position on the screen.
Press Option 1 to be able to test your level.

Space Shoot
Enough is enough, the dinner time cannot be disturbed by these invaders every day !!!
With your good old ship, fight against never-ending ennemies waves.
Between each level, you can upgrade your ship at the Space Shop. Be careful, every use of a special weapon will cost you some points.


Changing waves for more fun

How to play :
Pad : move the ship from left to right.
A button : normal shoot, if you stay without moving for a while, you will get a rapide shoot (the actual shoot is displayed at the left top of the screen).
B button: use special weapon of your ship. Be careful, every use of a special weapon will cost you some points, you must have enough points in order to use a special weapon.
During the game, the ennemies will drop some capsules when destroyed, this will give you some bonus if you can catch them :

Here are the different types of bonus :
- Go to next level.
- Gain a life.
- Activate a shield.
- 25 points.
- leurre.

How to use the Space Shop :
In order to enter the Space Shop, press Option 1 between 2 waves.
You can freely choose your upgrade.
A quick description of every upgrade, and the value in points (every use during game will cost you these points). You can load an upgrade, even if you do not have enough points to use it now, but you would not be able to use it, unless you get this capital in points.
Available upgrades :
Booster - 10 points : speed shoot, the same than normal shoot, when you stay immobile for a while.
Speed-up - 10 points : allow you to move speeder for a while.
Plasma - 25 points : perforating speed shoot.
Napalm Bomb - 100 points : In order to use this bomb, a first press on B drops the bomb, a second press on B makes it explodes, destroying everything around it.
Shield - 200 points : this shield will protect you from shoots and collisions... for a while.

Space Dance
Between 2 space combat, why not going relaxing into discotheque ?
A dance game on Lynx, with nice musics from Sampo.
In order to be able to go to next level, you must score at least 80%.


Ehm, no, there is no dance pad for Lynx, AFAIK ;)

Space Domino
Play against your Lynx in this simple domino game.
Will you be able to win ?


A to take or drop a domino, B to swap a domino.

Please note that this english translation is given for information. In case of misuderstanding, the french text is the only reference.

In order to use Yastuna vol. 2 with an emulator, you must have an emulator and the console BIOS. We will never send you these elements. The Lynx BIOS is not freeware, in order to use it with an emulator, you must be in conformity with the law of your country.

Realisation of a personnal cartridge game :
There is no restriction to the build of a personnal cartridge game, in order to play Yastuna vol. 2 on real Lynx. However, we cannot be responsible of eventuals dammage done to the console by the use of such cartridge.

Distribution:
Permission is granted to anyone to distribute Yastuna vol. 2, in electronic or physical form.
Our request concerning electronic diffusion of Yastuna vol.2 are :
- non-alteration of this archives, and files included

The person who is responsible of commercialisation of cartridges games of Yastuna vol. 2 is free to set his prices, corresponding to building fees (cartridge, impression, packaging, post fees,...), and his personal margin. In other words, we will not be responsible of proces made by this person.

Nota : In case of free or commercial distribution of cartridges games of Yastuna vol. 2, the person who is responsible of fabrication take the whole responsability of his production, including malfunctions of cartridge, or console after use of games.
